Living By Faith

FAITH DETERMINES YOUR DESTINY

He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]. (Hebrews 11:6 AMP)

The spirit of faith is necessary to do the will of God. Mark Hankins

God is sovereign, but He has tied Himself to human cooperation to work out His divine purposes. Jesus said, “According to your faith be it unto you.(Matthew 9:29) Lilian B. Yeomans said, “God has tied Himself irrevocably to human cooperation in the execution of divine purposes. He has made man’s faith a determining factor in the work of redemption.”

When the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus, she got healed. Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has made you whole.” (Mark 5) The first ingredient in the spirit of faith is to believe. Brother Kenneth E. Hagin said the Lord told him, “If her faith made her whole, then your faith will make you whole.”

Faith is absolutely necessary to please God and do His will. God rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him! (Hebrews 11:6)

Confession: Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.  (Ephesians 3:20)

WHEN FAITH COMETH, FEAR GOETH

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

In the midst of adversity, David was overcoming fear! Mark Hankins

There can be no doubt that David had a spirit of faith. He killed Goliath the giant, a lion, a bear, and more than 10,000 Philistines. Case closed — the man had a spirit of faith! However, in the Psalms we see David dealing with fear. We also see that David dealt with fear by believing and speaking. The spirit of faith requires both! David penned these words in Psalm 116: “For You have delivered my soul from death, My eyes from tears… I believed, therefore I spoke…”

There are over one hundred times in the Bible where we are told, “Fear not.” Jesus said, “Fear not: believe only.” (Luke 8:50) God works by faith; He is a faith God. It pleases God when we have a spirit of faith. (Hebrews 11:6) “We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” (2 Corinthians 4:13) We overcome fear as we believe and speak the Word of God.

Confession: The Lord is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1)

WHOSOEVER SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER

If ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. (Matthew 21:21)

There are no immovable mountains. Mark Hankins

Jesus told you to speak to the mountain. The mountain has been speaking to you, telling you how big it is, how long it has been there, and that it is impossible to move. You need to do some speaking to that mountain! God is holding you responsible to “frame your world” with His Word. The devil would like to frame your world with doubt, fear, depression, sickness, and poverty. The Word of God will put him on the run. We can draw five simple conclusions from Mark 11:23:

1.  If it were God’s will for the mountain to be there, Jesus would not have told you to move it.

2.  If you only knew what was on the other side of your mountain, you would move it.

3.  If it is there, you can move it. There is no mountain in the sphere of your life that you cannot move.

4. Your mountain needs to hear your voice.

5.  If what you have in life was completely up to God, Jesus never would have said Mark 11:23.

Confession: With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.  (Matthew 19:26)

MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or Who shall stand in His holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord… (Psalm 24:3-5)

The spirit of faith always chooses the Glory Road. Mark Hankins

The Knox translation of Psalm 24:3 says, “Who dares climb the mountain of the Lord?”  The ones who will climb God’s mountain are the ones with the spirit of faith! The spirit of faith always chooses the Glory Road! Climbing this mountain represents obedience to the will of God.

The road on the mountain of God is the Glory Road. Those who choose to travel the Glory Road see the glory of God! The Glory Road is like a spiritual Mount Everest.  On this road there is much sacrifice and it is extremely challenging, but when you get to the top and see what is on the other side, you will be glad you chose that road. It requires training and discipline to make it to the top. However, the rewards at the top make the journey worthwhile. Choose the Glory Road and experience the glory of God!

Confession: I will dare to climb the mountain of God and obey His will for my life! I choose the Glory Road! I will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of my salvation. (Psalm 24:5)

INGREDIENTS IN THE BLOOD

By the blood (that sealed, ratified) the everlasting agreement (covenant, testament). Strengthen (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will. (Hebrews 13:20-21)

You will be launched into a new level of victory and blessing as you apply the blood.
Mark Hankins

When we look at the New Testament, we see a full printout of the ingredients that are in the blood of Jesus. We can see what God sees in the blood. In order to purchase a million dollar life insurance policy, a sample of your blood would be required before you would be approved for the policy. They would send the blood to the lab to study it. Under powerful microscopes they would see what ingredients are in your blood. A few days later you would receive a full-page printout with a detailed description of what is in your blood.

A thorough investigation of the blood of Jesus reveals every necessary ingredient for full salvation. There is righteousness, forgiveness, redemption, sanctification, healing, victory, blessing, boldness, prosperity, and power in the blood of Jesus!

Confession: Through the blood of Jesus, I am strengthened and equipped with everything good that I may carry out His will!
