FINDING YOUR PLACE IN THE ROCK

And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the Lord said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock. And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and I will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts:
but my face shall not be seen. (Exodus 33:20-23)

There is a place by the Father, and that place is in Christ Jesus.
Mark Hankins

God told Moses, “There is a place by Me for you.” Moses was getting in on the secret of God’s plan of redemption — that man belongs at the right hand of God, meaning in His presence. Moses was getting in on the secret of the power and authority of God. God told Moses, “You are going to stand upon a rock.” Jesus is that rock!

Moses wasn’t just going to stand on the rock. God put him in the cleft of the rock, which means, “I’m going to carve out a niche in this rock and put you inside of the rock. Now you can see my glory and my goodness and understand who I AM.”

Confession: There is a place by the Father for me and that place is in Christ Jesus. I am in Christ!

MAKING ADJUSTMENTS

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
(Philippians 2:13)

When you are born again, you move out of the devil’s territory and you are relocated to a new place in Christ. Mark Hankins

Throughout the Bible, we see God moving men and women into the proper orbit to be used by Him. You can see this in the life of Abraham. Abraham had to do some moving. He had to make some adjustments so he could receive and transmit. God is constantly working with people to change their thinking, speaking, and acting, in order to open up the miraculous for them.

God wants to bless you. He wants to make you a blessing. He has some “rockets” to help you move into position to see His glory. He has given His Word, the Holy Spirit, and the five-fold ministry gifts to help you make adjustments. It takes some changes to get the glory, and it takes the glory to get some changes. You are being changed so you can fit and function in the proper orbit and realize your full potential in Christ.

Confession: It is God that is working in me both to will and to do of his good pleasure. He is changing my thinking, speaking, and acting. I am being changed so that I can realize my full potential in Christ!

RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT THE GLORY OF GOD

For we are God’s (own) handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus…living the good life which he prearranged and made ready for us to live. (Ephesians 2:10 AMP)

The new birth is the launching power that gets you into the realm of God.
Mark Hankins

Several years ago, NASA launched a communications satellite. This satellite could not receive or transmit because it was in the wrong orbit; it was absolutely use- less. Something had to change for this satellite to receive and transmit. They were able to fire some rockets attached to the sides of the satellite and move it into its proper orbit. As soon as it was moved into place, it began to receive and transmit and its potential was realized.

Finding your place in Christ is the key to receiving from God and transmitting His power. The new birth is the launching power that gets you into the realm of God; however, you may not be receiving and transmitting because you need to make some adjustments. There are changes that must be made in your thinking and speaking that will enable you to receive and transmit the glory of God.

Confession: I am God’s own handiwork, His workmanship recreated in Christ Jesus. I have found my place in Christ. I am in position to receive and transmit the glory and the power of God!

VICTORY IN CHRIST

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. (Psalm 119:130)

You are who God says you are; you can do what God says you can do; you can have what God says you can have!
Mark Hankins

My dad and mom pastored a full gospel church in West Columbia, Texas for more than 50 years. When my parents first moved to West Columbia, I was only a year old and my older brother, Mike, was four. Mom was sick and mentally tormented for two years. Dad not only pastored the church, but also had the pressure of all the family responsibilities. Dad began to have heart trouble. The church was small and struggling, and we were poor.
However, in the middle of this struggle a man gave my dad some books on the authority of the believer, the integrity of God’s Word, and who you are in Christ. Dad began to read and study the material and gained a new understanding of God’s Word. Dad began to speak the Word to Mom and had her repeat it after him. She began to say, “I am who God says I am. I have what God says I have. I can do what God says I can do!” As my parents saw who they were in Christ and spoke the Word, faith arose in their hearts. They knew that victory belonged to them in every area of their lives.

Confession: Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14)

FINDING YOUR PLACE IN CHRIST

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14)

Understanding where you are has everything to do with finding your destiny and direction in life.
Mark Hankins

A traveling man entered a town looking for a certain address. He pulled into the driveway of a home where a little boy was playing in the front yard to ask for directions. He rolled down his window and called to the little boy, “Where am I?” The little boy answered, “Right there you are!”

Many times in life we search for answers and direction. God shows us in His Word a simple, “Right there you are!” Understanding the new birth and who you are in Christ begins with several “right there you are” and “you are here” scriptures.

Accept the integrity of God’s Word and boldly declare, “I am who God says I am. I have what God says I have. I can do what God says I can do.” Right there you are — in Christ!

Confession: In Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. I am complete in Him which is the head of all principality and power! (Colossians 2:9-10)
