Living By Faith

ELIJAH AND ELISHA

Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. (2 Kings 2:9-10)

“It’s time to rip some things the devil has tried to make you wear.” – Mark Hankins

Elijah said, “You cannot have my mantle unless you see me when I go up.”  Elisha determined, “Nothing is going to stop me from seeing that man when he goes up.”

The day came when Elijah crossed the Jordan River, and Elisha went over with him. The chariot came down, the whirlwind took Elijah up, and Elisha said, “Hey, it is a new day!” When that mantle came down, he grabbed it. It represented a double anointing. He grabbed the mantle and ripped his own clothes. He said, “I am wearing some new clothes.”

It’s time to rip some things the devil has tried to make you wear. Get dressed in the reality of your redemption in Christ. You have access to new places. Dress up in honor. Put on a garment of praise right now!

Confession: I rejoice because I do not wear the same clothes that I used to wear! In Christ, I have new clothes!

POSSESSING THE LAND

Every place upon which the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours. (Deuteronomy 11:24 | Amplified Bible)

“There are some places you can never go geographically until you first go there in prayer in the Spirit.” – Mark Hankins

You have to acknowledge and declare that you are who God says you are in order to possess the land. There are some places you can never go geographically until you first go there in prayer in the Spirit. God has given you influence in new places in the harvest – in America, Africa, Asia, China, Central America, and Europe. God has given the church places to walk in harvest.

You will have new places of influence where you never had influence before.  God wants the church to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. That means walking in supernatural influence over your city, your family, and your life. It is harvest time!

Confession: I am who God says I am. I have what God says I have. I am doing some walking right now. I am possessing the land. Healing and miracles are mine. New anointing and authority are mine. Prosperity and victory are mine. New places of understanding and revelation, new places of authority, boldness, and anointing are mine. New places in prosperity, world harvest, evangelism, and new places in prayer are mine!

NEW PLACES TO WALK

Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then also you shall rule My house [That is authority right there] and have charge of My courts, and I will give you access [to my presence] and places to walk among these who stand here. (Zechariah 3:7)

“In your authority as the believer, God has given you access to walk in places you have never been.” – Mark Hankins

God is saying, “If you will walk in the light of what I am telling you right now, and if you will live in the reality of who I say you are and what I have done for you, I will give you new places to walk.”

God has some places for you to walk where you have never been before. Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

There are new places that include miracles, signs, and wonders. That means walking among angels in the glory of God. When you start walking in that atmosphere, you will learn the keys that unlock miracles, signs, and wonders!

Confession: I am in this world, but I am not of this world. The devil is under my feet. All the power of the enemy is under my feet. I am walking in new places!

A GLORY FASHION SHOW

Your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith. (I Peter 5:8-9)

“If the devil can get you under condemnation, he can cheat you out of your inheritance!” – Mark Hankins

Do not expect to breeze through this life without an adversary. The more anointing and glory you get, the more you move up on the devil’s hit list! Your picture is up in the post office of hell announcing, “MOST WANTED -Get him, stop him somehow!”

The devil is the accuser of the brethren. He will take you back as many years as necessary to get you under guilt and condemnation until you hang your head. Revelation 12:10-11 tells us the way to overcome him is by the word of your testimony.

It is time for some new clothes! Get dressed up in the glory! God wants to have a fashion show like Paris or Rome has never seen. He wants to dress you in righteousness, glory, honor, and humility and let you come walking out with the glory of Jesus on you!

Confession: I know what God can do. He brought my family, my children, and my grandchildren, and me out of the horrible pit and put my feet on the rock. Look what the Lord has done!

SO BE IT

Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, Gods Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident. (2 Corinthians 1:20 | Message)

“You can go to church and walk out in the same condition you came in, even though you said, “Amen! Glory! Hallelujah!” in all the right places.” – Mark Hankins

Do you know what “Amen” means?  It means, “So be it.”  If you are in church and say, “Amen,” you are saying, “So be it.” You ought to consider what you “Amen.” Some people just say “Amen” at timed intervals. They are not even paying attention. One man was preaching and said, “You know, millions of people are going to hell every day.”  Then he said, “Amen.”  That means, “So be it. Let them go to hell, man. I don’t care.” You need to be careful when you say “Amen.”

Paul is saying, “Amen, so be it.”  Jesus is the Amen. Jesus, through His death, burial, and resurrection came and said, “So be it” to everything God has ever promised. He fulfilled it and brought the reality of it into the economy of God. It is no longer just a promise or just some theology; it is an absolute reality.

Confession: What God has promised is affirmative – no question about it!
