THE LAW OF REVELATION KNOWLEDGE

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:3)

Revelation knowledge is how God changes people’s identities.
Mark Hankins

The Bible is inspired by God and is God-breathed. God’s Word is alive, and you can find yourself in the Bible. Revelation knowledge shows you what God sees. When you see it in the Word, you can say, “I am who God says I am.” You identify or find yourself in the Word.

Luke 4:17-20 says that when Jesus preached His first message, He read from the book of Isaiah, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…” He went on to say, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” We know Jesus was God manifested in the flesh, but Philippians 2:5-8 says that He laid aside his powers of deity and functioned as a man. He studied the scriptures and found the places that referred to Him. In His first sermon He said, “That is me. Isaiah 61:1-3 is talking about me!” His true identity was in the Word of God. This is the Law of Revelation Knowledge. The Bible is God talking to us, and we too, must find ourselves in the Word of God.

Confession: For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him. (Colossians 2:9-10)
